THAMES VALLEY HARRIERS ANNUAL AWARDS WINNERS 2009 – 2016
The club celebrates the achievements of our athletes and volunteers every year at the Annual General Meeting. Awards are presented in various age groups and categories as listed below.
TOM MAJOR TROPHY – which is conferred for the Best Performance of the Year by a TVH athlete.
DENLEY OLYMPIC TROPHY – for the Best Junior (under 20) Performance of the Year.
NORRIS SEGAL TROPHY – for the Best Under 17 Performance of the Year.
MEL EDWARDS TROPHY – for the Best Under 15 Performance of the Year.
ROY CLARRIDGE TROPHY – for the Best Under 13 Performances of the Year, there are two awards, Girls and Boys. This award started in 2012/13.
KEN NORRIS SAO PAULO TROPHY – for the Most Meritorious Performance at 10 miles or over.
SIMON MADDISON TROPHY – our newest award sponsored by Simon for over 50 veteran performances.
VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR AWARD
DAVID SEGAL SPRINT AWARDS – for the best 400m performances of the year.
