The England Athletics Hall of Fame and Awards Ceremony took place in Birmingham last weekend. Part of the ceremony was the National Athletics League Awards, and TVH were presented with the Premiership Trophy.
The level of competition in the league was tougher this year and it was a hard fought campaign. TVH won the first three matches with strong performances right across the board. But the result was still in the balance going into the fourth match, with double points available. Once again, the team stepped up to the mark and took its fourth victory of the season, making it eight match wins from eight, since the inception of the NAL last year.
Awards were also presented to the best athletes in the four categories of male and female track and field. Although unable to attend, Amelia Strickler once again won female field performance with a 17.70m shot put at the Hendon third-round match.
