TVH Open For Business

Outdoor Athletics Season 2021 is well and truly under way! After a disrupted 2020, domestic and international competitions are returning thick and fast.

Earlier this month, World Athletics Relay Championships in SIlesia, Poland saw Zoey Clark represent Team GB in both the Mixed and Women’s 4x400m relay teams who finished 5th and 3rd respectively. Zoey showed great early season form helping both teams to qualify for the Olympic Games later this year.

Athletics action returned to Linford Christie Stadium in style last week (May 12th) as TVH and BMC combined to deliver a stellar night of inclusive athletics.

Headline performances at elite level include a sensational PB performance from Revee Walcott-Nolan who clocked 2:01.06 over 800m. This took place in a heat led by TVH age-group duo Basil Rock, U20, and Max Bishop, U17, who stopped the clock at 1:57.06 and 1:57.22 respectively. These performances place both inside the UK top 10 rankings for 2021 but also resets the club U17 800m record that stretches back to 1969.

Over 100 athletes from across the London region set opening marks throughout the timetable, from 300m to Long Jump, with some competing for the first time ever.
