TVH 2.6 Challenge – raising funds for TVH and the Care Workers’ lMany charities rely on supporters raising sponsorship funds when participating in mass participation events, with the London Marathon the biggest of these events. The 2.6 Challenge has been set up to help charities and Community Amateur Sports Clubs such as TVH start to plug the gap in raising funds while these events cannot take place. In 2019 many of our young athletes raised valuable funds for TVH running for their borough teams in the London Mini Marathon. We were planning to organise new fund raising athletics events this year, which are now on hold.
It is easy to take part in the TVH 2.6 Challenge; challenge yourself to complete an activity 26 times and ask friends and family to sponsor your challenge.
For TVH members it could be based on a current training activity for an individual, a family or a training group of athletes completing a virtual relay challenge.
It can be a short activity or a challenge that takes place over a few days, as long as your challenge is completed before the end of June.
There are plenty of ideas on challenges on the 2.6 Challenge website and on social media
