Track Works and Closure from Monday 27th April

Please see an update below on the upcoming track refurbishment from TVH Chairman Andrew Mitchell.

Dear Members 

We’re pleased to say the Council has now given an expected start date for our much-anticipated track refurbishment: Monday 27th April. This is excellent news for us in the long-term but will have a short-term impact on coaching and training. We recognise this will be disruptive, but we can now all look forward to a time when we have a new track and can host competitions and open meetings again.

We’re still talking to the Council about some of the detail, but for now the key points to note are:

• We will not have access to the track but expect to have access to the Clubhouse.
• We are working through with the coaches what this will mean for their groups and what alternative arrangements we can make. We expect at least some sessions to be run on the Scrubs. Please speak to your coach for further information.
• We will need to confirm when the Clubhouse will be open but we do want it to be available as a meeting place and for the gym to be in operation (including on Saturday mornings or if there are groups running on the Scrubs) 
• The end date is 10th July but this will depend on, among other things, the weather.
