Southern Vets League Match 2 Report

In the second match of the league,  our Athletics team brought the heat, taking the win on June 2nd at Hillingdon’s home ground! We triumphed on their track, making every squad member a champion tonight!

Huge congratulations to:

The Man of the match is Travor Wade with 26 points, as Trevor covered all 4 field events and finished in top 3 every time. Runners up are Joel Bell and Greg Bennett. Both athletes won their field events and Joel managed to throw the discus as far as 41.3m, almost not enough measuring tapes.

The woman of the match is Sharon Dooley with 23 points by winning 3 events. Runner up is Samantha Brewer with 14 points. Samantha’s performance was outstanding as she was competing in younger age group and almost won both events.

Let’s keep the momentum going! Only 2 matches left to secure the 2025 league title!
