Reece, Pippa and Rachel continue record breaking form indoors
Rachel Miller, Pippa Rogan and Reece Earle have all been in sparkling form indoors, continuing to improve their indoor club records. Rachel ran 7.19 secs in the 60m at the Birmingham Grand Prix on 16th Feb and Pippa cleared 1.83m in the high jump at an event in the Czech Republic on 1st Feb and then 1.84m in Athlone, Ireland on 13th Feb.
Good luck to Rachel, Zoey Clark and Amelia Strickler representing GB at the European Indoors in Glasgow starting on Friday 1st March.
England U15 / U17 /U20 Indoor Championships, Sheffield 23rd & 24th February 2019
Congratulations to Reece Earle and Toni Ademuwagun for winning performances at the National Indoor Championships in Sheffield.
Reece ran a new pb of 7.12 secs in the semi-final of the U15 Boys 60m (improving his recent club record) before winning the final in emphatic style in 7.16 secs. Reece also finished 3rd in the 200m in a new pb of 23.53 secs.
Toni has been in great form indoors after his 2018 outdoor season was curtailed by injury. Starting the day with a pb of 2.07m from the same championships last year and jumping 2.05m at the BUCS champs the week before , Toni made a big improvement in winning with a jump of 2.11m.
Charlotte Buckley competed in the U20 Women 800m & 1500m double on the same afternoon and finished 2nd in the 1500m with a new pb of 4:35.83 and 4th in the 800m in 2:14.56.
Other good performances from TVH athletes at the championships include; U20 Women 200m Hannah Hall 25.72 secs and U17 Women Triple Jump – Ruth-Ann Otaruoh 10.88m.
