Lorraine Ugen Sets New 100m Club Record
Lorraine Ugen has started the outdoor season in fantastic style by breaking her own 100m club record that she set last year when the senior women claimed the national league title in Bromley. Lorraine who was forced to cut short her indoor season due to injury had a run out over the 100m in Fort Worth, Texas USA where she ran a fast 11.37.
Lorraine was pleased with her run saying afterwards, “I was really happy with the run, I had to take time out from the indoor season after injury to rehab and refocus for the outdoor season. I wanted to get a decent speed session in and kind of see where I was at, and was happy to see that my speed was there post injury. I’m looking forward to moving forward with the outdoor season and working on continuing to stay injury free”.
