Thames Valley Harriers is always looking for new people to get involved in helping to coach young athletes. There are many opportunities both to gain experience by helping established coaches and to undertake training courses leading to recognised coaching qualifications.

We currently seek to find a committed and passionate coach to join our team in 2020. The voluntary position involves attending weekly sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays with the opportunity of paid coaching available for school projects, weekend kids on track sessions and summer camps. We are currently looking for someone to support our young endurance group alongside another experienced coach.

We are also looking for assistant coaches for some of our adult groups such as our middle and long distance group session. All help is appreciated, so if you can’t commit to every Tuesday and Thursday but would still be interested, please get in touch.

A coaching qualification would be desirable however TVH would be willing to support you in taking your UKA coaching course if you are committed and able to dedicate time to the club. DBS is essential.
