Don't stroll about on the inside three lanes. You might find a large group of runners tearing down the track towards you. If you hear someone shout "track!", move out of the way fast. You should have an idea if you have been watching what lanes these runners would be running in, or your coach should have warned you in advance.
If you are going to rake the sand pit, fill the holes in, rather than rake it out to the sides.
